SKA was commissioned by a family of six, who were relocating from across the country, to put personal touches on an unfinished spec house that they purchased in the Coolidge Hill neighborhood. We added a third floor gym, office space, and coffee station, and created a breakfast nook with storage, a new fireplace for gathering in the living room, and another bathroom on the lower level for the family’s nanny. Bookcases and window seats were added in the front room, and the tile work and newel posts were redone on the first floor. Finally, the mudroom and garage were renovated.
